Stranding Series: Pilot Whales, Georgia 2019

In this series each piece takes its title from the date and place of a specific stranding event. The number of repetitions of the whale image accurately reflects the number of animals that stranded at that time and place. In these more recent (2022) pieces I have included weather data as well, and the images are on copies of historic whaling vessel journals drawn from the New Bedford Whaling Museum library.
